Any suggestions on how I could get the lock on an old but sturdy filing cabinet to work?
February 2nd, 2012
I recently bought an old filing cabinet from a thrift store and was happy to find it had keys with it and everything! But I couldn’t get the lock to work. Got home and put some WD40 on it. Still nothing. Any suggestions?
Makita. drill it out and replace it. takes all of twenty minutes. you’ll need a "cabinet lock" available from the locksmith, about $3-$5. good luck.
